Cody just ran 250A (12th) and Open pro sport (5th) at Loretta Lynns. He raced Unadilla also but missed out making the gate. 40th in timed practice last week and a DNF in the consi.

My buddys company is sponsoring Zack Williams so he could make it to the last two rounds.. Thought that was pretty cool.

So Stankdog on a 2-smoker qualified a spot above Tomita who is on a factory bike, correct? If you're one of the guys that finishes behind Stank on that 125 without crashing out or a having a mechanical you have to just feel terrible about your chances of being a successful pro racer.

I know they tried in the pass at KTM with having someone contracted to race the 350 and it didn't go very good. I just wonder with the new KTM/Husqvarna's... I wonder if they will contract some to race the 350's again?

IMO now that AC222 is off the 350 we will never again see a top guy on the 350. They are not competitive enough.

Only 27 riders in the Group A 450? Wow... Low entries for the race.

That are my thoughts also and the field has gotten deep in both series.

Every time the schedule jumps from the east coast (Unadilla) to west coast (Utah) and back east again (Indiana) the next week the entries are usually quite a bit lower. A couple of years ago Washougal was the same way. The east coast privateers skip the long road trip.

But you figure there would be more west coast racers signing up. But who knows... But the tracks on the west coast with practice racers only and never actually race.

Late to the party today. DS got everything under control, as usual. Needs a mod tag. Hoping for some great racing for the last trip to MMP.

For whatever reason It seems there are usually a few more privateers and local guys who show up at the east rounds than the west.

Also the Utah track itself may not be the biggest draw when it comes to attracting riders.
