You ll be able to get the kawys and hondas cheaper because of the rebate and they made more of them, therefore they can be cheaper! The kawy and Yammy is best for taller dudes, but the new rmz s are badass. IMO you ca nt go wrong either brand. Are you gonna race mx?, playride, keep it stock etc? There are 09, 10 s leftover as well. In my area the crf and kxf s are 6700 otd for 450 s , and the yzf and rmz s are are about $7400. that should give you an idea, but the rebates are like 800 off the crf and kxf, do not let the sales man bullshit you.

My racing days are far behind me, am quick approaching the 40 mark. More looking to get back into fun riding after a 10 year layoff from racing in Australia. Want to teach my kids and have fun with it - family activities. I am taller at 6"2' and now 230 lbs - sucks to be older... I think I'm having a mid life crisis

If you are looking for something sorta unique....
You could also call up FMF (310-631-4363) or Pro Circuit (951-738-8050) and see what they have available,as far as tricked-out bikes go.
Traveling from Vegas o So-Cal isn't really all that far.

Man , IMO yoy can t go wrong, just consider a close dealer, parts available etc! Seems like the crf s are the bike you can get the most parts and aftermarket stuff for and the quality is good, Ktm s are good to, but not my 1st choice. All the bikes are great stock and even betterwith some aftermarket stuff, depends on your budget. Go to a local track and ask some real riders with no sponsors and they will give you some good answers because they are not being paid by the brand. What are you leaning towards?
