Well you got a really good deal on the 05 if it wasn't roached. I sold my 03 CR 250 in 05 for 2 grand to a friend. It's pretty hard to find a clean CR for really cheap. I've been looking for over a year and the one in question is the cleanest one I've seen by far!

i know this guy had it and never road it, it was too much power for him lol. he was a local cop, and the thing was perfect. all i did was put new piston and ring in it to make sure it would be good. its my profile pic, actually just traded it for a 08 y250f

The bike was actually bought new in 2008 so it's only had 3 years of use

yeah i think ive seen that bike on craigslist before. looks like the cleanest cr still out there. when i traded my bike last week i just got a bill of sale with the yzf.

That isn't to far fetched. A buddy of mine picked up a mint 2003 for $1800.00 a few weeks ago. I saw a MINT 2005 Cr 250 in Seattle about 3 weeks ago for friggin' $1400.00! I damn near cried!

The 04 CR250 I used for my last CR500AF build was $1100. It was basically new still. Had original everything and nobs on tires. It had a fouled plug and the gas must have been old. Because he changed the plug, and it started. When I went to leave it fouled again. Thus, he was like, just buy it. Got home and cleaned it up, drained fuel. It ran perfect. So there are deals once in a while. But as a CR250 buyer, I can say it is getting hard to find clean good deals. They are drying up. I currently have a 2003 CR250 that is very clean. Still deciding if I wanna 500 it or not. Those are hard to come by too.
