Any of yooze guys use a under the jersey roost guard?

Which ones are the best bang for the buck? Most comfortable?

Do you wear a t-shirt under it?

Thanks.

I gave up on those. The outer ones are much more comfortable for me. Try the Fox Titan. Looks cool.

I just got the EVS under jersey roost guard. I think it's the EVO(?/I already forgot). It's not nearly as balky as the others that I have worn and it's nonrestrictive with a small spine guard on the back. I love it.

Yeah, that thing does look nice, but no way I could wear that in summer scrambles. Blink

I have the Rev 5, it still fits kind of small on me. I ended up taking the plastic off, it would ride up and hit me under the chin. It is not made for the non chiseled set. Thor Sentinel is made for little people. I just ended up with a TLD and removed the shoulder cups. Works great with my Leatt, and is pretty comfortable.

I've used the 661 Moto Air Vest (the one pictured above), an MSR Underoost, an EVS Revolt and a Revo Lite (didn't like the shoulder pad look/feel), and I just bought a 661 Rogue (sold it before I even wore it at the track). The Moto Air Vest was the best of the "t-shirt" type ones that I've tried. I think the Fox Titan will be the next one I get, though. I tried one on and it felt very comfortable, has hard plastic protection, and didn't look/feel bulky under a jersey.

I use an AXO 10 oz underfoam protector. (Yes, I've had it for years)

I wear a t shirt under it, if it is not too hot. So Cal summers no T shirt.

I've got one of those and am really happy with it. It wasn't terrible on hot days in Virginia; but I'd take it off when the airflow stopped. I like how everything stays in place when I hit the dirt. I have few tears in my jersey that might've been skin. I'm sold.

Texas heat could be too much though.

The best under protector by far IMO is the 2010 661 core saver.! It offers really really good protection for the money. It's really light & it feels good on your skin + it works with my Astar neck brace. I had the old 661 core saver, it was good also but it always use to ride up my mid section when I raced. So I purchased the new one this past season & six six one has corrected that problem with the new one with a much improved longer built in kidney belt section. I would never race without one!
