USA MXdN team announcement? When will it happen?

Any guesses on who will be the MX1 rider and essentially the team captain? And why?

I'd guess RD because of past experience.

My guess would be Ryan Dungey... He has been the team captain for the last 2 years, and he seems to have more endurance, which is probably needed more against the faster 450 riders of the bunch.

Although either rider would be a good choice, if I had to choose, I'd say Dungey... But after the next few races, depending on how good Ryan Villopoto does on the new 2012, he may very well be chosen for MX1.

Bagget and Roczen will definately be the fastest 250 riders out there. But I'd say Roczen is faster, although Bagget does really well in the 2nd half of the motos.

Honestly, I don't think it matters. RD and RV are gonna kill it. This is one of the strongest teams fielded in years.

I really hope MX3 is Dungey. I went to Lakewood last year and that is alot of racing for the MX3 rider. Shorty did better than I thought he would last year. Regardless, very tough team for sure

strong team indeed ! but iindividual results will be very interesting ! MX1 Overall =, MX2 overall =, MX3 = ???

My prediction for what its worth around St Jean De, MX1 Cairoli, Frossard, Dungey, Desaille MX2 Without a hint of doubt , Roczen then i would think a French rider then Searle, MX3 Villopoto then who cares !!!

Whichever class it may be, Dungey and RV are going to win their own. MX2 will be a good Roczen, Deano, Bagget, Rattray battle, if they all get good starts. They are the best 250 guys out there.

I have to agree that they go in as favourites, but Cairoli is awesome and i mean 'AWESOME' round St Jean and Frossard is on home turf and blindingly fast around there !!! Oh, i forgot to mention De Saille !!!

MX 1 is the easier role correct? That class get to ride moto 1 and moto 3 while MX 2&3 both have back to back motos.

The word I heard in the Kawasaki pits was that Roger D. wants Ryan Dungey as the MX1 guy, and Ryan Villopoto as the MX3 entry. The Kawasaki crew guys were in favor of having this year's championship decide who gets the nod for the MX1 spot and the number one plate.

My vote for a coin toss or rock/paper/scissors got shot down.

I'm not sure when the entry deadline is, or how late they can change it.

I was hoping our champ would be representing the #1 in France as well.
