Was at the Ironman national talked to a few riders and mechanics. The KTM rig and team will be there... but minus Hill-injured and Dungey opting out. He will not race until Monster cup. None of the RCH guys will be there. So no Roczen-back surgery. No Tomac-injured. The USA des nations Team or Barcia-Martin and Webb will race. A lot of the teams will be sending the team rigs to support the GP riders. Oh I will be there though, flight is already booked. There are still a lot of great riders competing at the higest level. I'm very excited to be attending.

No Dungey as stated before, and most likely no Anderson and Osborne aswell.

Webb is racing a 450, that's all that matters.
His best friend as well Wink

Grant and Townley will be there as well
Hopefully Cairoli is fit by then but I doubt it

Hmmm? I wonder why no Anderson and Osbourne? I thought all the Rockstar guys were going? Isn't CP377 going?

I just wouldn't count on a huge AMA rider turn out. There is nothing to gain from it and to be honest if I was a GP Team I would not be happy to have the influx of riders on the gate when final positions in points are going down.

Saying Dungey and the like would race was a great way to sell tickets.

They're supporting Kawi teams from Europe. Tonus wanted to race, but I'm not sure if he can now due to his continued illness. Savatgy is having surgery and I'm not sure about Alldredge...

With the logistics of planning for getting equipment to the 'Nations for the first time, and JGR's North Carolina home base being far from Southern California, we were a bit surprised to hear the team would be racing. Turns out they never intended to. We expect official word from the JGR team this week.

Nope, he's out for the MXoN. Our team for the nations cup has been annunced today, no Cairoli, no Philippaerts, no Guarneri, it will be Bernardini, Cervellin and Monticelli.

about the USGP I'm not sure if he will race it or not but coming to this it doesn't make any sense for him to race it, unless he has some kind of contractual/sponsors obligations, I don't know.

Sucks no dungey or barcia. Dungey would win. He's the best we've got and he's familiar with the track. Barcia would stand a great chance to win too. I hope the guys from AMA who attend have a good showing. I'd love to see Stewart do the off race. I know, It won't happen

Well im still going. Never been to a GP so it'll be fun anyways. Moto is moto. Hope we see some good racing. Sucks because of all the injuries and the timing of it all. But hell , it'll be worth the trip for me.

As I said before the season started, this race needed to be the first, NOT the last, in the series. A full grid (including a healthy R.V.) would have guaranteed a huge crowd - now? who knows. Poor planning by the Italian.

Well they were not exactly planning on RV to get injured. Imagine if RV was leading the championship and ending his career at Glen helen. That would have been alot cooler than starting it there..

No doubt it will be worth anyways, I'd love to be there just to watch Febvre's speed Cool he is very fast and I'm pretty sure he's not leading the championship because of others injurys.
Also there are even good battles in the MX2 class with Anstie, Gajser, Guillod and Jonass. It's a shame Tixier and Ferrandis are out...
... just FIM/youthstream do not destroy that track as you're used to do, thanks.

I think what you meant to say was "Webb will be crashing spectacularly on the 450, that's all that matters"

No problem. your welcome.

Will the track be prepped like a US national or like a GP. Maybe a stupid question, but I wasn't sure if there was a guideline between the two series as to how much prep can be done.

I was wondering that too.. I bet it's the usual GH prep, though, they are gonna be on the track a lot. It'll be interesting

A source at Yamaha reported last week that all 3 would be there, Barcia, Webb and Martin. A source at PC has said one of there riders if not both will be there. The track will be almost like the National but with a 65ft shorter start straight and a few other minor changes. The biggest change will be in soil conditions. For the National we had rain off and on and it was cooler and no water was needed during the day. Soil is drier and a lot more water will be put on it. As for prep, it will be prepped for Saturday and anything not safe will be fixed during the day. And Sunday it will be the same. Start the with a full prep and go rom there. We should have a rider list in a couple weeks. Looks to be full classes.

You're right, I've read a press release from the FMI where Thomas Traversini states that the decision was made in consultation with Cairoli, Philippaerts and Guarneri. Philippaerts states on his Facebook he never was contacted.

All in all not a bad decision I think to give the opportunity to the youth.
