Did something happen to Tyler Bowers or did PC just forget to sign him in East Rutherford SX?

PC had already registered Cianciarulo and Tonus for a long time ago. Yesterday PC signed Audette in, but not Bowers.

I hope he actually 'shows up'. I hate to speak negatively about folks, but I am so disappointed in him this year. I was looking forward to him being fast and aggressive this year. So far, he is far from aggressive, and throwing the boat anchor out mid-race. I am sure there is a reason, but to the best of my knowledge he came into the season healed and healthy.

Flip side of that, he will always be a winner in life, he has an incredible missus.

Well he did have his collarbone plated and complained of a weak shoulder. That stuff takes time to get back 110%. I think he will find his speed again.

Didn't Bowers have back surgery during the offseason? That's kinda a big deal to come back from.

I think tyler seems to be improving every week for the most part. He does have speed. He looks like a big guy on the 250, Not sure what he will do outdoors, but I think the kawi squad looks strong this year. Can they give the yamaha guys a run, we will see

I highly doubt it. His name has probably been on the pre entry lists all season.

He will not finish an outdoor season. Would not even surprise me if he does not line up for hangtown or any other national. I like his tenacity at sx but he does't have the "want or desire" to compete outdoors. Stamp it.

This ^^^ and i just dont see him able to hang with these kids for 35 min. Top 15 maybe top 10 on good days. Top 5 or podium, no esp.. being on a 250. He definitely needs a 450 outdoors.

I hope you are completely wrong. I want to see some elbows up, don't give a F racing from him. We got a glimpse of it last year and it was fun to watch, I hope he figures something out.

He had back surgery last year and the recovery took longer than expected. He also caught Epstein Barr Virus. He said that he basically had to try and pack 4 months worth of training into 2 months prior to the SX season starting up and couldn't train as hard as he would have liked due to the Epstein Barr virus. He knew that he was coming in under prepared and would be racing himself into shape. He has also gotten some bad starts/been involved in a some first turn crashes that have hurt his results.

He just had back surgery, from experience it takes over a year to really start feeling 100%. I had the exact same thing in november 2014. I started training around february and riding in april but every few weeks I'd tweak it and would put me back 2 steps. Then in october of last year I tweaked it again and it was 6 weeks before I felt comfortable enough to ride. its finally beginning to feel normal around 1 1/2 later. Without having the surgery you couldnt understand but yeah, it takes a solid year to come back from, while it might be more than that it's a head game, it could be too late for bowers.Time will tell.

I get the whole back surgery thing, but i just dont see him doing that great on a 250 outdoors even when he was doing good in sx. The last time he raced outdoors was in 09 on a motoconcepts 450. He raced a 250 in 08 for YOT and he could barely crack the top 20. He should be on a 450 outdoors IMO.

He never raced outdoors in the years prior to back surgery. I love Bowers, kind of an old school rider who doesn't give an F... But Mitch brought him in to win supercross races. He has no chance at outdoors. Even though he is old school, he is not an outdoor specialist and I don't believe he has the desire to train and practice at the level it takes to be top 10 or top 5 outdoors. I don't think he would enjoy racing in 12-16 place week in and week out in the summer heat. Outdoors is just not his thing. I would love to be wrong but I'm just looking at past history...
