Maybe it's been mentioned and I missed it, but did anyone else notice the sweet sound of a screaming two stroke during Saturday's broadcast of the 250 motos?

Thought it might be him. He was running 23rd-ish for a good part of the second moto if I remember correctly.

They just pipe that in to keep the two-stroke fans glued to their TVs. Wink

Now if they could just get the TV to puff out a whiff of burnt pre-mix, that'd be something!

They should run a junior class 14-16 year olds 125 national championship . race every round but points from half the rounds for kids that can't make all the races due to funding Travel etc and to promote wild card entries . Kids get to learn the tracks and fans gets to hear real bikes racing

I'm hoping they do this too. A 2 stroke cup would be awesome, but a 125 only class would be the best. Even better if KTM or Yamaha (or even TM and the rest) were allowed to enter bikes as factory teams. It's a shame American motocross is locked into classes allowing basically only 2 bikes. They should change it to a 300cc max. class and an Open class, with a 125cc junior cup class or something.

What do kids that move up from 85cc race in the US (at the highest level)? They go straight to 250F?

In europe it varies per country.
The highest level in Germany has a 250F-125/2 class for kids aged 13 till 20 or 21. Basically almost everybody is riding a 250F.
In the Netherlands the highest level is a 125/2 class for the age group 13-17. And MX2 (which basically is a 250F class although 125/2 are allowed) opens from age 15.

We have schoolboy 1 and 2 12-16 (I think it's 16)

125s only in schoolboy 1 and 125 or 250f for schoolboy 2

Most of the big hot shoes (who's oem sponsor doesn't make a 125) these days go from supermini to 250f and skip schoolboy 1

Now we just need for who ever is in charge of the entry list to put that he's on a 125 instead of a 250f

A 125 class would be a great addition to the Outdoor Nationals and Supercross. And it would be much safer for 85 & Super Mini riders making the transition to the bigger 250f's. It would also be some very exciting racing with the real "Soundtrack" of motocross. WFO on a 125 is one of the best things in life and it will also improve your riding skills.

you both have my ideas summed up. As good as DC always is about sorting out the truth about alot of issues, why hasn't there been in communication about this in a long long while?

Just goes to show how terrified the 4T endorsers are to even acknowledge his existence publicly.

Some Japanese theaters have this capability. A buddy of mine in Denver works for a sound engineering company and they did the audio for one of these theaters. His company David Adams and Associates also did some sound consulting for a track over on Oahu

It was Honda, they didn't want a 2 stroke beating their 4 bangers. Laughing
