From TLD...

https://youtu.be/oB2_S6nysq8

On June 6th, 2003, Troy Lee announced the launch of Team Troy Lee Designs, and began what would become a 5 year endeavor into Supermoto racing. In 2008, Team TLD entered into AMA Supercross, and in the years since have gone on to capture numerous podium finishes. All throughout this journey, Honda has stood by our side. Troy Lee Designs would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Honda who has been instrumental in making this partnership happen. It has been a great ride!

That was kind of sad but still awesome of them to thank Honda like that.

TLD is consistently the BEST looking team in the pits, year after year. They have my favorite team bikes ever.

A smart move to not burn their bridges.

Great video from a classy and stylish team.

I think big things are ahead for Seely in 450 SX in the future.

Can't wait to see what TLD has next in store.

For sure have the best looking bikes and have had some awesome riders come through their program. Wish Craig could come back and ride full-time.

So they are parting correct?
You might want to wait for someone to stamp it.

I want to see what they're going to do with the orange ktm's. Probably something sick, as always.

As much as I like ktm, I can't help but think this was a wasted opportunity for Suzuki to make a push again in the 250 class.

Tld is awesome.

That's gratitude which is rarely seen when teams parts ways with manufactures. TLD got style for decades. And class. My next gear purchase will be TLD for sure.

Well, Troy Lee has always been known as a very classy respectful guy. Honda was fortunate to have him.

I thought their red/blue Honda's looked pretty awesome, considering the Lucas Oils logo is one of the most "bleh" logo's out there.

Not sure how they will make the red/white/blue Lucas Oil logo incorporate well into the orange KTMs? But if anyone can pull it off, Troy can.

They will find a way, after all they had baby blue and orange bikes numerous times and the LUCAS logo was altered. I'm sure Lucas doesn't want that done on a perm basis, but if anyone can find a way to make the pallette work, it will be the designers at TLD.

The biggest shame at TLD is that if you or I send them a helmet and simply say "Make it awesome, do whatever", you will end up with something that makes you angry at having spent over a grand on a paintjob. I've seen it happen numerous times with friends throught the years. They do wicked work if your name is Jeremy McGrath, but the average customer gets a disservice in the paint shop.

Anyone know why they parted from Honda? Did Honda pull support? Did KTM just have a better offer? Did Troy want to work with a different color scheme?
