is amazing! I can't believe how low he stayed over that triple. He also came literally out of no where and passed Alessi and Tedesco through the whoops. Not to mention earlier that sweet pass he made on Reed back in San Diego.

Yeah I thought the board would be alive with comments about his style after watching the telecast. He looks like he's still on the 250, they way he flings that bike around. Maybe even rides the 450 harder. He's one strong dude, that's for sure.

Last year at Daytona his mom said he liked the 450 better than the 250.

He looked great out there and was scrubbing hard everywhere ... but you know, Reed wasn't scrubbing anything and was right there with him the whole time.

Great race for Honda. They dusted Dungey.

Well his 450 IS significantly lighter than his last 250 so why wouldn't he?

because with the larger bore and the increase in reciprocating mass, it should then feel about the same.

I agree 100%. His style is is really fun to watch.

Triracer : I'm not sure where you have heard / read about the weights on these bike , but his 450 is "not" lighter then his 250 was last year. yes , it's lighter then then any stock 450 out there , but a 250F is around 15lbs lighter bone stock.

I had read on here a thread about the weights of some of these factory bikes , and was surprised that some of them were still 5-10lbs heavier then what the limit was. I think the 450 limit is 234lbs and the 250's are supposed to be 212 pounds ( or heavier?...218? ) that right there is a 22lb difference.

either way.....canard does throw that thing around like it's a lites bike!

22 was making all of his time in the whoops. TC was pulling a big gap everywhere else. His control over jumps is amazing.

The 450 is 6lbs lighter than his 250 from last year. It was up on transworld a while ago and they said they got their info straight from the Honda guys.

If true that is amazing. A works 450 lighter than a works 250f? Regardless, Trey moves the bike around like it's effortless. Still pretty smooth too. I remember in Anaheim he would scrub the finish line and he would be extremely lower compared to everyone else, even Stewart.

He definitely rides like he wants it more than anyone. He rides like they all should. Like every 1/10th counts. I think JS is the only other guy out there that rides with that always pushing it style. I'm sure they are all pushing the limits most of the time I guess it just shows up more in those 2's riding styles.

It is very impressive but Geico Factory Connection isn't a factory team or "works" as you put it.

...And I agree with everyone, Trey has the sickest style on the track right now!!!

His scrub-to-pass back on Reed was crazy impressive!
