Could Trey move down to the 250 class or is he ineligible?

Well, obviously now it looks like he is going orange so there's no need for him to move down. I'm glad for him.

The only reason I mentioned him moving down, would be to try and handle a lighter, easier to ride bike. Some of his crashes have not been his fault, but I wonder if a 250 would help him build back up more safely than a 450 (since he has remained "on the mend" for the last couple of years).

I know RC talked about his weight training to be able to handle the bigger bike, and that it took awhile.

Serious question, did the field used ti get depleted like every year back before 450's came along? I seriously can't remember.

With how fast modern 250's are, would it not make sense to make the 250's the premier class?

Maybe Trey is showing his "appreciation" for being bumped by Honda.

It took all of one practice for RC to adapt to the 450. When did he struggle?

Most of these riders are runts and handle the 450 just fine. Crashing is part of the sport. Riders get hurt. Canard won't be the last injured rider this summer

I totally agree, and I am a huge fan of Trey, his faith, and his riding. And, I know that he would never "fake" an injury or treat an employer with contempt...even if they treated him unfairly (not saying Honda did). I guess I just threw that in there with a wink of sarcasm, because of that fact. Some might...Canard is bigger than that. I wish him all the luck at KTM or wherever he lands in 2017.

Well, he had to train going from the 125 to the 250 2t. And then added some weight training going to the 450. The only time he struggled was from the 125 to the 250. He obviously never struggled with the 450.

Simple...he wasn't offered a contract as Honda has a new rider....so Trey is going in another direction
