With MONSTER as the main sponsor of the MXGP series, and also talk of a 22-race supercross season; how far-fetched would thinking that one day the end of the AMA nationals and MXGP series might coexist?
Lucas Oil might hold the reigns now on the US Nationals, but that contract ends in 2019, correct? With MONSTER requiring their athletes, such as Tomac, to run the USGP rounds, they could possibly front the money for both championships; and push the respective promoters to tie the end of their series' together. A win-win situation for MONSTER (or any other major sponsor) that would cause all American teams - plus the elite MXGP teams that compete in the 'fly-away' rounds - to garner massive interest from both sides of the pond.
Not sure if sponsors will actually head this direction, but it sure seems like it. Maybe one series in the US that contains both Supercross and Motocross, headlining the fact that our championship would actually contain 'the best in the world'? Also, a championship in Europe that contains 'Super-Motocross' rounds and the best GP venues in the industry; would this not account for the best situation between fans, motocross and supercross for every party involved?

- Have two rounds of MXGP in the US. These two races will also be Nationals. The Nationals will still be 12 rounds. However, this will add intrigue, hype, and excitement at the end of the year for both series. Profit sharing would have to be worked out.
- No rider can be forced or contracted to race from September 1 to January 1. If rider chooses to race, its his own choice.
I mean, where will Satin and all his minions go when it freezes over?
