Tracks in Destin FL Area

I'm going to be in the Destin area the week of 8/7. Trying to find some tracks open during the week. Any help appreciated.

I REMBER WE DRIVE BY THIS PLACE WHEN WE DID A ROAD TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD FORM TEXAS. THERE A BIG SWAMP RIGHT BY BUT I DIND SEE ANY TRACK UNTIL WE GET CLOSER TO ORLDANO

There is a true sand track but it is just straight, flat, and goes on forever!

Milton MX. Great track. Its in Milton just west of Destin. Track is super easy to get to from I-10 and then County Line MX in Panama City. Another superb track.

I know the owner of that track, private but people sneak in. his kid races so he really doesn't mind. Track is brutal and is bottomless sand.

Atmore MX outside of Mobile Al

Are you best bets.

However 1.5 hours north on hwy231 is Riverside MX in Dothan AL. (worth the drive)

I was under the impression that Kevin closed Riverside MX. It was on our regular series up until this year. Tom from Monster Mountain said Kevin was moving to Nashville to try his luck in music.

The is a track closer to mobile than Atmore (is it even still open) call MX56 I believe the town is Wagerville, AL or something like that. They say its a nice facility but I haven't been.

There is also the Apalachicola National Forest which is bitchen! Even if you're not an off road guy, it is some of the best riding you will ever experience and it will definitely whip your ass.

Mx56 is further from destin than atmore is. Atmore is really nice. Find michael ashe on fbook, he runs atmore and his dad runs milton

There use to be a place called Utopia in Defuniak Springs. I'm not sure if it's still there or not but a cool little sand SX track.

Someone from the area may know, but I was driving down there on vacation one time and passed a track I think was called "Vortex" or something like that. It looked really fun. Anyone have any info on that place?
