Looking to ride this weekend, coming south from Michigan.
No hardpack, real MX track.

Thanks

Thanks F150
Those 2 are on our list.
Was planning on Monster later in March when we have more time on spring break.

Shorter is just south of Monster and worth a stop if you can catch them open. a solid trip would be Shorter, Monster, Mill Creek, McClarty's and Sand Mountain. if you would go to Shorter first it's the farthest south then work your way back north.

Mill Creek is closed this weekend getting ready for their Spring Classic the following week. We went to Mclarty MX last weekend and it was very good. Sand Mountain and Monster Mountain are also good. Check Facebook to see if they are open. These are all Alabama tracks.

Ncmp is hard pack blue grove. Unless it's a race weekend. JWTF isn't that good at all but plenty of sand. Devils ridge is good also. Cow Branch is the start of spring series this weekend practice Saturday race Sunday it's pretty good but not real long.

Just got back from JWTF sunday. Yes, it's sandy but I'd recommend it. Two tracks to choose from, one smaller and one larger. Honestly, we had the big track to ourselves on a Friday and Saturday and it was a blast to ride on. There's plenty of variety for all levels of riders.

Forgot to mention mx56 in wagersville just north of mobile, al. Place is amazing. Hit the trails if you get tired of moto. They will open any day of the week for you if you call the night before. The owner is the guitarist for hank jr. Place is badass

Club MX is legit, very good real MX track. I also enjoy Hog Heaven MX, sandy and fun jumps. NCMP is good but if you may get some hard pack clay some days.

Might see you at the track this weekend!

Thanks guys,
I think we decided on Club MX Friday then Wide Open and try to hit JWTF on the way home Sunday.
Appreciate all the suggestions, going to check out the Alabama tracks on our late March trip.
Thanks again,
KC

I tried to ignore this but it keeps playing back in my mind. If you don't think JWTF is a good track what constitutes a "good" track to you?

Devils ridge is a joke, how you can call JWTF bad and the ridge good is beyond me....

Every time I have been there the faces of jumps were ate up and track was to dry. Not bashing the track but twice I have taken people down there that drove all the way from Ohio and 2 of them ex- pros and they agreed. I plan on trying there next race just stating how I see it. Red bud, monster mountain, club mx, ww to name a few of what I think are good tracks I brought up Devils Ridge went there a few weeks ago it was good and a lot closer for someone driving from Michigan.

It is very soft, he has his riding classes daily and open to the public daily. So it usually gets chewed up fast, however Jimmy works on the track constantly. His wife just posted the other day he got new lights on the dozer and will probably never come inside again lol! He has a new water truck this year and has been using a lot of water. It is sandy place and just soaks up water... Those other tracks you named are awesome, agreed!

I don't like the Ridge, baffles me as to why they hold the state championship there.

Are you coming to Cowbranch this weekend?

If you like cow branch then you should hit Morgan's corner. Way way more fun. Good dirt. Good people.
