Nothing really stands out on this one, at least to me...hope the whoops are big, everything is bigger in Texas! The start is kinda funky...What do ya think?

Holy moly, there's a ton going on there! The double 90 start is interesting. The triple-triple-triple-triple (or some variation of that) might be a little hairy on the opening lap too. Should be fun to watch though.

Ya that kinda scares me, hope the double apex first turn(s) sort them out before they get to that section.

I'm still trying to decide what I think about it, too. It could help to kind of space the guys out before they hit that long rhythm section, which is good.

Edit: yup, I'm with ya on that one, Scottie

I could ride it WhistlingSilly

so do they skip the whoop sections on the start and then incorporate on the second lap?

Last year's track had a 160 degree turn if I remember correct and it really spaces riders out because everyone is lining up to go inside if they can. I like the 90's so you can have a better chance of a good start even with an outside line.

Man, that long jump/rhythm section just goes on forever.

Also agree with what has been said, the 90-90 start is awkward, but may help make it all work on lap 1.

Just eliminate that lane that is used only during the start, and go straight into the whoops off the start instead. Whoops will spread them out enough before the quad-triple section, and even if they crash into each other in the whoops, that's far less dangerous than landing on top of each other.

But what do I know...

While it looks like they are using most of the floor in this design, at least on paper, it looks like someone mailed it in.

Why do you say that?

Every time I look at a track map and don't like it, it turns out to be some of the best racing. Nothing amazing about this track but I kinda like the berm that is behind turn 2 from the start. I hope they put a big hump before the berm and you can either jump it and go outside or roll it and go inside making multiple lines and no follow the leader.

Not sure why the start/first lap has to skip those two whoops sections - seems unnecessary.

Newsflash... this is Supercross not a sewing club. It's going to be dangerous.

No one is forcing the riders out there. If they want to win, nut up and jump shit.

That long rythem section is going to create some good racing. It would have been gnarly sending them through the whoops on first lap,

Just gonna take a guess and say you'll want to be inside on the start. Lol there is no room on the outside.

looks interesting. that long rhythm might have options for the guys who are brave and really "feelin it".

start is wonkey, but I think thats good. Whether or not it works or it doesn't, I think it's good to mix it up and try some different things here and there.

Track looks boring to me. They seem to always waste a lot of floor space at Dallas ever since moving to AT&T Stadium.

How awesome would it be if they went up the stands and out the end zone door that slides open? It'll never happen but it's a nice dream.

I'm looking forward to the back to back whoops, I'm bummed they took out the dragons back at the end of #2 though. And they've ran very similar layouts to the 2nd half of the track a few times. Along with the 90-90 start, that's not a very uncommon start layout as some people are acting like. Should be some good racing and glad to have a 12 jump rhythm lane!

Remember when Reed squirreled out in the whoops and took everyone out back in '12 or '13? I dont have a prolem whith skipping whoops off the start uf it means they build them bigger Evil Hope the short lanes have some interesting obstacles and arent just follow the leader.
