We just recently picked up a bumper pull toyhauler that has a fiberglass shell. I would like to hang a Pit Posse work station on the wall but I'm worried about piercing the shell. Anyone have any experience with these?

I have an FRP sided toyhauler and I used a stud finder to locate some metal in the walls to mount all of my Pit Pal Products without an issue. I did put a couple extra fasteners in just to be sure.

752 you did use the finder far enough from Peely and Huck to get accurate readings I'm guessing .. ?

3M makes a "killer" red tape that they use to build aircraft with and attach glass to skyscrapers.

It'll let you hang stuff without having to drill or rivet into anything. They used 12 square inches of it and it could pull a locomotive. Of course at some point you may want to remove it too. That's when the stuff ain't so fun.

I'd be leery of using any fastener longer than 1"
Yep. A lot of the "studs" on rv's are 1x1's. Nothing worse than running a screw through the side of your new $68,000 you hauler....oh wait, yes there is. Doing it twice.

This...

Or, you can bond a "Stand Off"'to the wall and bolt the work-station to it/them.

Try clickbond.com

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Huck, that was what I was worried about. Boss lady would've been pissed!

Looking into the 3M and the click bond!
