SX is not an endurance event. Nothing wrong with 12 minute mains. This is not the outdoor nasty's gentlemen. This is the show that pays the bills for the season for the teams. We need both.

He is saying that there should be a time difference rule that if you are not with in a specified time, aprox 3.5 seconds of the fast time than the rider is a hazard to himself and the rest of the riders.... I fully agree.

ok i will bite if the fastest lap is 50 sec then 107% . SO 50 X 107/100 ( times 107 divided by 100)=53.5 sec (very tight) Unsure

f1 rule. During the first phase of qualifying, any driver who fails to set a lap within 107 percent of the fastest time in the first qualifying session will not be allowed to start the race.

so if my math is correct, if a 107% rule were in effect, anyone slower than a 51.399 would be out.

Man....rough go of it for my buddy Nick Lane racing his first supercross. Just got a text from his mom saying he went down and injured something after just a few laps.

It would need to be around 103% for sx to be effective. I suggested this months ago and got laughed at. I am all for 10 rider gates. If you can't win you can't race. This is the pro's right?
