Obviously he fell, but he didnt make a single place up the whole race???

Millsaps had his off track.. and fell again , but still beat him, what happened?

And if you drop Tapia and Partridge out of the equation as they were lapped, and read the results from 20 thru 1 , that could just have easily been the result.. some big names in the bottom half of the field.

Some guys are going to need to get used to not getting top 10 pretty quick.

Hate to say it but he's doing what he usually does, he'll have some good races and some really bad races. I don't understand people hanging there hat on him as a top guy he hasn't shown anything in the 450.

He flat out killed it in all three years in 250 class. He came so close being champ in his rookie year but got punned so Broc won that title. The year after he won the championship and in his last year he had multiple tight battles with Roczen and only lose it by a single amount of points. So he was 2 - 1 - 2 and he also won outdoors 250 class with quite a dominate fashion. Last year he got injured for once but regain strenght in the outdoor series and won some races.

And now you think he will run around 10th place? Blink

Exactly Tomac is the only guy that can run Roczen's pace recently. The problem for Eli is that crashes and bad starts get in the way. He had the holeshot tonight then drifted wide and let Roczen and couple of others through then crashed twice.

Speed isn't the problem for Tomac he just needs to be more consistent but he should be up there as a title challenger.

Think the point of the thread is...

Why didn't he move up any positions? He fell early, never moved up more than 1 spot. With Tomacs speed, he should of made it back to top 8.

Bell rung? Bike bent? Hurt something else?

He has the speed , but so do lots of other guys. He could come out next week and win for sure, but he does seem to make life hard for himself for sure.

The fact that Tomac and Millsaps finished where they did is incredible. Even with two crashes, those guys would normally be around the top 10 area. Stacked field for sure.

Tomac will crash at times and be on fire at times. Obviously it's just one race, but Canard and Roczen seem to be the ones to watch.

According to Tomac after the first time he crashed he got back up and was making up time on some guys then crashed again. After the second time he crashed he backed it off, didn't say whether or not his bike was bent up. He was not injured.

Yeah no room for error this year. I'm rewatching on youtube now and depth on that leaderboard is ridiculous.

Well he almost had a good start but he got shafted in that first turn by some riders who werent turning...Lap times dont lie. Fastest guy and the guy who wins arent always the same. Ask Ryan Dungey.

Josh did not had big problems, so if you give him 38 second head start in 20 lap race, there is no way Eli could catch Josh..Even if he was the second fastest guy at the track
