I find this less laughable than the preseason scenario of Dungey 24-0.

p.s. I was going to start a thread titled Dungey 22-2? then thought better.

I can't see it happening. Don't think he'll finish outside the top 4 in any race he doesn't DNF though

I would say top three. I think only tomac, roczen and dungey have comparable speed at the top.

Now the 24-0 could happen but alot of people would have to crash out of the races for it to happen. Even though he won the second moto by over a Minute is insane. I think Tomac could do it but we will just have to see. I mean the last person to do that was JS7. Im going tomac will win most of them but not all of them.

the true test will be if he gets a shit start like he did most of SX series and he can get to the front wihtout throwing it away three more times............

no doubt he put on a clinic.....................but a more accurate indicator will be after two motos at Glen Helen

I will be very surprised if Tomac can win the championship. His track record speaks for itself. He is a great racer and very capable of taking a championship. hopefully he can keep it on 2 wheels and finish every race up top.

If he can do that for 22 more motos, sure. But to ride @ that intensity without any mistakes is difficult at best. Main thing is, ET3 is going to have to stay off the ground and not let the other players involved not get too close and push him into mistakes. Don't get me wrong; he is continually perfecting his racecraft and he could become the next RV. However, I think guys like Dungey, Roczen, Anderson, Baggett, Peick and Barcia are going to make that difficult.
