I always dug Bradshaw's style. My arms would have pumped up in 3 laps on that track lol.

The thing that makes it good is the dicing back and forth for the lead...and a healthy dose of nostalgia. I wouldn't say it's how the track's constructed (peaky jumps with really short landings). It also looked like almost a normal outdoor setup for suspension vs. the super-stiff suspension used indoors now.

Everts 111

He raced a number of one off SX events during the 90's. Never had much success though.

As I type right now, I have arm pump from that track.......I wish Daytona was still like that. I was also cool when they crossed the pavement.

That is nasty...and GuyB pointed out, the steep jumps with 2' landings? Made me think about what's so different today.

If you had today's bike on that track, obviously, the power would help to turn some of those jumps into a triple, but the suspension would allow these guys to over jump and flat land a lot of that stuff. So, that's what I'm seeing. Today's suspension is the key factor. These guys are slowing down for some of the jumps...that would never happen today.

I think Daytona get's pretty rough still...maybe not like that, but still rough. It's just the suspension is that much better.

IMO.

I had one of that year's YZ250s. What a piece of junk.

Thanks for the video.
