Racer X is saying they heard 18 - 20 minutes 450 final + 2 laps.

Last SX I went to last 5 laps were a yawner.
Gal I took completely lost interest.

With todays attention spans 3 short 450 motos and 3 starts would work better imho.

Glad they are doing something. But this will not make it noticeably better. The same guys will win, just by larger margins.

They need to take a page out the MEC play book. A and B mains. Two 10 +2 mains. The goal is to get the stars out there more, and to do more battle. That one change will be a step in the right direction.

So let me get this straight. Instead of doing a 20 lap race on a 1minute course we are now going to race for 20min? The bastards in the AMA are rocket scientists!!!!

Ama and feld should really change the 450 class to the monster cup program, have practice be qualifying for top 18, lcq could be the first race of the night show. Have a super poll that awards points to the overall series (not nightly overall) and how you earn your gate pic... hec you could do it one weekend like that, next weekend have head to head racing for top 10 in points that would award points the 5 who do best... maybe have only 2 mains on that night. Point is it's time for change. These long mains are to boring. I watched quite a few this year n I get bored, the beginning a bunch of 5-10th place guys push it till they pop and then the guys who have insane fitness eat them up. And then by lap 13 everyone behind 3rd is in follow the leader mode running the clock clicking off laps in no rush. I can guarantee this^ would fill the stands!!

We can all agree we want to see better racing in Supercross. More passes, more fast guys moving forward. Nobody really cares how you calculate points. Especially when your leaving early cause the race got boring and you want to beat traffic !

The only way to create opportinity for more passes is more starts and shorter more intense motos. Make it a better show. Feld owns a damn circus so its just a show to them. Make it a more entertaining show, which 20 minutes or 20 laps will not do. Nice thinking rocket scientists.
