how incredibly good is that guy doing right now?
He's won 3 of 5 GPs. Could have easily won Valkenswaard as well if he hadnt stalled it twice in moto 2.
He's much more calm and calculated compared to last year. Hardly any mistakes, he used to have huge crashes regularly. Oh and he used to struggle in the sand as well.

I remember when I first saw him at a German championship race. He came all the way from Slovenia with a worn down camper with all his family and then went out to win both motos in the 85 class. Now a few years later he's winning MXGP races.
And he's only 19 years old, I can't even believe it...

Did anyone catch his pre race interview with Lisa? Made me even more of a fan.

I'm not sure if I'd rather see him stay in Europe so we get to see him live, or leave to America to see what he can do there.

By the way he has done an SX race already Sideways

He's awesome. He will either be a multi time MXGP champ or multi time AMA champ

Herlings must be wondering why he stayed in 250 class for so long.

My guess is his bank account isn't wondering anything at all at the moment... He is a professional riding in a professional series, let it go!

An age limited support class, intended only for younger/new to GP riders to gain experience.

Herlings isn't any of those things..

As soon as he wins MX2 this season, he will be racing in the 450 class. That was promised by KTM

And Herlings beat Gajser several times as well. We can't comment on those things, nobody even thought that Gajser would be this competitive and look how that turned out...

I hope so. The Everts & Cairoli years were borefest compared to what we have now. It's not an exciting outlook to have that for the next 5 years with Herlings. Especially with him looking to have no intention to ever move to the US.

So as i said, i'm hoping Herling will have troubles to win. But to be honest, i'm not optimistic. Gajser is great, but 10 GP's ago Herlings was riding circles around him. I would be very surprised to see Gajser change that in the course of half a year.

Yeah that was a great call. Would not be surprised to see him win it this year and then go to US MX2. Looking at how he rides he would be an instant title candidate in the MX2 outdoors.

The thing is, Gajser is a completely different rider on the 450, he is way better on the big bike. The advantage Herlings have is the possibility to ride the 350 if his style doesn't suit the 450.

Sandbagger for sure is not loving it.. Gasjer has stole his limelight. Good on the person that takes the risk and reaps the reward.

I don't think Gajser will swing his leg over an MX2-machine for a full series ever again.

I'm most impressed by his composure so far, he seems to be taking it as it comes and definitely isn't riding frantically.

It was not Herlings call to not move up. It`s KTM`s and Cairoli`s.

But KTM look to have lost their grip on the 450 title. I bet they move him up next year.

He's got a great style on that 450 and he looks incredibly smooth. I love watching him ride. I'm still hoping Cairoli can challenge for the title when we get back to Europe. But if he can't then I'd definitely like to see Gajser win it

I`m interested to see how it works out since Cairoli owns half of KTM Factory 450 team and I highly doubt Herlings goes there. So, it`s ether new KTM Factory 450 team or he rides 450 out of 250 team rig.

I think he will be on a similar deal to what Coldenhoff was on at Suzuki last year. 450 out the 250 team tent

If you ask me, it`s a half ass job. Herlings deserves full attention.
