They have really gone to great lengths to keep the photogs off the track this year after last years debacle Wink

Bryce, dude when Gibby stopped by here for a visit (on his way home from Seattle) He showed me vids / info and all the trick gadgets for the Phantom, i was so blown away!! We had a cool little geek out session lol The POV stuff was so rad! His was on order at the time, i think he got it the next week. Sure opens up a whole new world! Amazing technology, so fascinating for us uber tech geeks Laughing

Scottie, with that shot, it was far enough away that I couldn't see or hear it, and had only had a rough idea of where it was in the sky. I was flying purely by FPV. Smile

I think temps are supposed to be in the 80's, which is gonna make it a bit tougher on the engines at this altitude. Sad Ain't gonna make it this year 'cause the son's graduation is at noon and we won't get home until 3 or so. Sonofabitch. Really wanted to see this race.

Wish I could be there this weekend. Would be at the race if it was still at Freestone.
Oh well, maybe some other decade I'll make it to another National.
Picture looks awesome though, track looks great, you can tell they hauled in a bunch of sand.
