Check out this classic pic i found of my little bro sitting in my Pilot, it comes with a pretty damn cool story:

I was living down in San Jose and this was the first time my parents brought him down to meet me and my older bro after they adopted him. The tattoo he now has on his back of our last name and the date we adopted him says June - 1994, so this must of been around that same time. Sure turned out to be an awesome bro and i could not be more proud of him.

That's pretty cool O.C. I bet he use to dream about mobbing that pilot! I have a very similar picture of me in an O.G. odyssey my dad took at a shop when I was like 5.

Speaking of Odysseys, here is one of me in my 1st one before i got my Pilot. Magoo actually talked me into getting one, said i would love it...he was right.

I love the roost off the front tire.

....and yea you can just barely see the mullet blowing in the wind, this must of been around 89'ish? Laughing

I was so sporting that CEET neon pink seat cover on my '87 KX80... I realize this is 1998, but my '88 KX80 had moved on to the gray CEET seat cover. Pink was so yesterday. LOL

Figured out just how good the RM's were when I borrowed this '81 RM125 for a race after my YZ broke. Everything was easy on that bike.

That is rad Travis, Chris and i were full on bros, lived practically down the street from each other, my machine was his personal science project. We worked our asses off developing some of the strongest Pilot motors on the planet at the time. I owe so much to Chris and Mike Daas of Fox Shox for all the support back then! We created an incredible machine man. Its was like turning a XR400 into a Factory Honda lol Taking a machine not intended for true racing is a LOT of work, and mine is truly one of a kind. Im a total perfectionist and every detail down to each nut, bolt and even zip tie had to be PERFECT, and it was. Sad that is has been in storage for so many years, but i will never get rid of it.

btw: You will like this then Cool

Chillin with Malcolm the summer before he turned pro a couple years ago. He was watching us race and even gave us some pointers.. He also said his borrowed factory Yamaha 450 from brother at the time was "clapped out" hahah

That middle picture is from the Golden State at Sandhill, there were so many riders that they built a separate track at a lot of the rounds for the minis and vets. That was on the backside of Godzilla Hill.

Slippy- Was the top picture you posted from Mini' O's? Looks like around '88 or '89?
Between the photo's you've posted in the past and OCScottie's photo album I could look at old photo's from the 1980's all damn day. Racing was so damn fun back in the 1980's.

It was the World Mini in '89, my first big race on 125's. I thought I was sooooooo cool with my open face and Venturi face mask!

Dang i coulda sworn that was also Sac Raceway, the pic made the dirt look like that red shit and the Honda banners.

Speaking of the mini tracks at some of the GS's. Do you remember '84 at Hollister? They basically put up banners on the side of a virgin green grass hill. Epic soil that day, i have pics somewhere.
