The Shop
I was living down in San Jose and this was the first time my parents brought him down to meet me and my older bro after they adopted him. The tattoo he now has on his back of our last name and the date we adopted him says June - 1994, so this must of been around that same time. Sure turned out to be an awesome bro and i could not be more proud of him.
I love the roost off the front tire.
....and yea you can just barely see the mullet blowing in the wind, this must of been around 89'ish?
Damn OC, that mullet woulda been classic. Don't know if you saw this from the other day. Mickey Dymond was supposed to ride but slept in and Blackwell put me in his clothes for the shoot!!
He "slept in" that is classic!
Some others from the Whip It! vault:
(Ernie in the first shot).
Charley Bogard - To this day the fastest rider I have ever seen.

Chillin with Malcolm the summer before he turned pro a couple years ago. He was watching us race and even gave us some pointers.. He also said his borrowed factory Yamaha 450 from brother at the time was "clapped out" hahah
Pit Row
first are from 98/99 last from 1990
Between the photo's you've posted in the past and OCScottie's photo album I could look at old photo's from the 1980's all damn day. Racing was so damn fun back in the 1980's.
This is a great thread!
Speaking of the mini tracks at some of the GS's. Do you remember '84 at Hollister? They basically put up banners on the side of a virgin green grass hill. Epic soil that day, i have pics somewhere.
Me in 1980 also at Saddleback Park on my 1980 YZ80 busting a cross-up on the SAME EXACT JUMP as in the previous picture
Me in 1985 with my brand new KX125
Me in 1985 at DeAnza cycle park coming up the start straight on the same '85 KX125 as in the previous picture
