Steve McQueen. An actor that rode motorcycles for fun. And still was good enough to ride ISDT on a Triumph twin. McQueen is cool enough he gets two pics.

RV who?

lol that was good.

I still wish RC would have gotten a good start at the 07 mxon to see him and RV battle.

Does MC qualify as a badass mx dude? SX definitely
He won an outdoor championship and hurt many feelings in his MXdN contributions. Probably would have won a lot more outdoors if he hadn't been so focused on SX.
There's really no question is there?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive MC fan, but I wouldn't put him up with the greats outdoors

My list is not a definitive, all encompassing list. I did not say "THE three....". I've always been a McQueen and Decoster fan. When I came across the GIF of Dungey beating on his bike (surprised he did not break bones in his hand), I thought this needs posting.

I rewound the scene in The Great Escape of McQueen jumping that barb wire fence many times as a lad Tongue I thought it was so cool!

And another badass Dungey moment would be him shifting his KTM by hand at MEC.

MC in 95 and 96 was almost untouchable outdoors, to the point he got too confident in his ability and hurt himself at Millville, then the real back breaker was pulling off at Washougal. He could have cruised and got a top 10 and would have salvaged enough points to win the title.

He was the points leader in 98 when he pulled out of the series with a broken wrist he suffered during SX. He was a badass.

The 14 250 national wins in 2 years (95/96) is more than Roczen and Tomac combined and more than Villopoto in 450 MX. He is 8th all time for 250/450 National wins. MC was a badass inside and out.

these two were (are) baadasses for completely different reasons and both played a huge roll in decoster's management career as well. two of the most respected men to ever strap on a helmet.
