We had one of these for my little brother but it was well past its time. It was back about 98 or so I would say. I think it was an '84. We went through it and stripped it down to the frame, painted everything and just made it look sweet. Wouldn't you know it some losers broke into our shop and stole it. Left the big bikes took the little one and it was the last time we saw it.

My first bike too. I loved that bike but secretly always wished I had a KX. The KX60 seemed like much more of a race bike with more real suspension.

I still loved that Honda! My bike was always spotless, all the way down to every speck on the cylinder cooling fins.

That is amazing to find your bike again after what has to be about 25 years... That is nuts. I have a caption for your race photo... "Go that way real fast.. If something gets in your way, turn" Smile

the 84 CR60 was faster. IIRC it was bigger, too.
I had the Yamaha but wasn't racing yet. In fact, once the cylinder was trashed my dad stuck an (81?) YZ80 cylinder, piston, and carb on it.

Nikes, sweatpants, Jacksonville Jags jersey, no gloves, hands barely wrap around the grips. That's how I learned!
