That's a sweet ride. I hate to say it, but I think 4-strokes revived Winham's career.

Hard to believe that it's over 10 years ago that suzuki designed that 250.

One thing I've always wondered about that bike is why they changed the clutch actuator for the left side of the engine to the clutch cover on the right side of the engine. It was not like that stock and they did not continue to do this in 2002.

Good looking RM250. Im surprised how non dated it still looks after 10yrs. I've owned 3 Suzukis , 2 125s and a 450. I've always liked Suzuki because that's what my dad raced back in the 70s, so growing up those we're the bikes I wanted and the riders I pulled for. The bikes handled great and I was always real comfy on them. I wish kdub would've stayed with them longer, I'm curios to what he would've done on that team under RD....

The MXdN team for 2001 was actually Pastrana, RC and Ryno. Injuries if I remember correctly had some last minute shuffling which resulted in Brownie, RC and Windham. 9/11 put a squash on the trip that year and the following year 2002 was the clusterphuck of epic proportions known as Competition Park.

RC, TP and Ryno won 2000 MXoN. RC, KDub and Brownie were the original team planned to go to in 2001 but 9/11 screwed that up.

The decal set on the left was the 2000 team that won in France. Decal set on the right was for the 2 teams in '01.

I stand corrected. You are right...

I remember Travis was out after his horrific crash at Washougal that year. I was at the 2001 final at Steel City. During Saturday practice I saw Ryno's horrible crash over the tabletop. I believe he was in a Pittsburgh hospital for almost a week from his collapsed lung and other injuries Sad
