Definitely a nice one. I wouldn't say it's better than that legendary pic of Stew though. The jumps are too different.

The craziest thing about Stew's infamous scrub is that it happened 13+ years ago now and the other guys are finally catching up.

Gajser lays it over and is badass.

"the other guys are finally catching up. "

That's not even true. Look at what Stewart said about Canard's scrubbing. It took some years for the other guys to get the technique down but it didn't take 13.

I'd argue James' jump was harder to scrub any of these pictured above also... It was tall, peaky and fast as hell... A lot of these other ones are rounded off and much lower speed.

You guys seriously think his scrub from 13 years ago holds a candle to what these guys are doing today? What he pulled for the time was ground breaking, but guys today have far surpassed that.

Any excuse to make a thread into JS7-speak...

Is this the jump where he crashed and hurt himself (shoulder?) on the landing?

Same jump that Tomac crashed on at the MXDN?

Trey has a couple gnarly crashes (femur?) from scrubbing too hard.
And that was 2011ish? So 7-8 years after this:

Which isn't the best ever, but its the one people are still talking about.

Guillod and Gajser have definitely stepped it up a notch recently.

Roczen has been scrubbing hard since 2010ish.

2012 Bubba scrub at the top of Shoei Hill. Guy B shot.

2014 Bubba Scrub at the Stewart compound. Garth Milan shot:

I was talking about Herlings in that pic. Not the Gajser clip.

That one still spins me out. How do your feet even get to that point, and once they do how do you get them back on the pegs? Unbelievable

James was better because he had both feet still glued to the pegs.

The difference between James scrub at budds on the 125 was there were sandy braking bumps all the way up the face of Henry hill. Whereas gajser had a flat non rutted face to deal with. Both are impressive by all means.

One of my favorite scrubs ever is the one James pulled on Chad at Indy 2011. Go to 9:20 and enjoy.

Looks like an Ollie Airwalk from an 80's street skating sequence. Awesome stuff.
