I posted one of our bikes for sale on Craigslist yesterday and today, I get a text from a nice fella wanting to purchase it for his son.. He said he did not have a truck but would gladly pay me what I was asking and an extra $200 to bring it to him in South Atlanta... I explained that I would be glad to do this for him and would even meet him at the Atlanta PD station down off I-85... his response was "Not a big fan of the law, sorry"

Maybe if someone here wants to sell him a bike, feel free to call him, 404-620-0538

That's exactly how they do it. It's the same song and dance every time it seems.

I know all these guys getting ripped off because they make a bad mistake, may seem new just because people started posting about it. I have sold two bikes in the last three years that i did indeed drive the bike to someones house and made a good deal! If you get ripped off it is your fault. There will always be thiefs and there will always be guys who are just dumb enough to get ripped off. You must be smart, take as many MEN as possible and be armed, calm and watch your surroundings.

I'd like a bike also. Only willing to meet behind some abandoned houses in a sketchy ass alley. I'm good for it bro.

I texted the number seeing if they wanted to buy my bike. They said they were a lady and not looking for a bike.

He played dumb for me. but he was a man.
Me to, he said, and I quote, "what bike sir?". I straight up told him his phone number Is on a motocross forum for everyone to see, so cut the Bullshit. There was some other stuff I said just to scare his ass that I'd rather not repeat.

LMFAO! Screw those scum bags! Hopefully some of those jack offs deal with the wrong dude , and come up missing. Maybe the other thieves around the hood will get the point.

I couldn't agree more. It strikes the wrong chord with me, as I'm sure It does with most of y'all as well.

Threatened to call the cops? You should have said "I thought you weren't a fan of the law?"

I had a similar situation. The guy low-balled me initially and I set GTFO. Then he agreed on the price I set, but asked if I will deliver it. Then I said sure, but it will cost you. So he offers me an extra $300 to drive it to him, roughly 2 hours away. I said no problem, and said the place would be the local Police station parking lot. Never heard from him after that. Not to worry though, sold the bike to a guy who didn't even want me to fire it up (cold start). A very trusting guy, but I started it for him for my own piece of mind.
