Well long story short I got a new set of tech10s. There just a hair large. Basically just not as snug as I would like them. Tried the next size down and they were too small. So I called alpine stars to see if they have any suggestions and they said other than thick socks they don't have any other options. So....Who makes a good pair of THICK riding socks? Im looking for something fairly thick. Of course the Astars guy recommended their thick socks. Has anyone tried them? Are they actually thick or just more like a normal sock?

Maybe regular street socks under riding socks? I just had the same issue with some Gaerne boots. Ended up buying some Fox boots instead.

Snowboard socks are along the same lines as moto but thicker. They have extra padding in simaler areas.

Try Burton or Stance socks.

You could also try different insoles. Sometimes that can help if they are thicker

Regular old MSR boot socks are the thickest I've found. Sumbitches are like wearing 3 pairs of any other sock.

MSR socks are thick. I have used those in the past for winter. If you go to Walmart get a pair of dickies socks and throw your old ridding socks over it. That would save you some money and you get more than one pair. http://www.walmart.com/ip/28727623?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227019618103&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=40846816472&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=78663730232&veh=sem

I do the same thing. Although now that it's cold, I'll be wearing my riding socks this weekend to race in.

Maybe just a pair of thin bicycling socks under a pair of riding socks.

Sidi used to make a long thin moto sock out of cycling sock material...but all you really need is a shortie to snug up your foot in the boot a little.

wear like 85 pairs of pantyhose... layering is key, and the thin material allows you to micro-adjust your desired thickness, by adding or subtracting more

O Neal have some pretty thick socks. Those boots will stretch even more as time goes bye.
