If Mike Genova wants an adventure, why doesn't he pack up the gang and head to the GP's?

Has he had enough of Tony?

Saw that on MX Large, interested to know if Genova is finished or if MA800 is trying to go off on his own.

Does MX Large have any credibility? Seems like they put out a lot of flat out false rumors.

As for Genova, I'm curious to see what he does also. Fold up shop or get a rider that doesn't have a circus attached.

Mike has always been a much better outdoor rider than indoor even though he has had some good sx results.

I've always wondered why they didn't just pack up and move there and just race GP's. It seems like a good fit for his racing although moving away from the US would be super tough.

If mike goes to the GP's it'd be that much more of a reason for RV to head on over there and piss all in his cheerios bahaha

I don't remember all the particulars, but Mike went over to race a few GP's when he got on the KTM350 and something weird happened before he even lined up. I think it was team related.

I'm a MA800 fan -- would be an even bigger fan if he raced the GPs.

I'm not much of a RV2 fan -- would be a huge fan if he raced the GPs.

Ive often thought that when Mike is done racing in the U.S., Mike Genova is done owning a race team. Been an interesting run for Genova if this is the end.

All speculation of course. I dont know anything.

I tend to agree with you but....it would be nice to see how he performs without Tony in a new venue and atmosphere. I know the goal as a racer is to win for most but if I could still make my living racing my dirtbike, traveling the world and placing in the top 10..........easy decision!

It would be a shame if MA stopped racing SX. He is getting close to having a breakthrough season. MB has helped his SX riding a lot.

If he could go on his own (which I'm sure any Team Mgr. in the GP Paddocks would demand); I think MA800 would do well in the GP's. Maybe not win a title first year out but could contend for wins. IMO, he needs some different scenery and a change of pace. Hope something could be worked out and he can get a ride over there and showcase what he can do.

If I was a team manager, I would make sure line 1 of the contract would say absolutely NO Tony Alessi allowed in the team pits during race day.

The industry has labeled the Alessis the black sheep. I think it would be a great move for mike and that Genova could revamp his team here. There are plenty of decent riders out there for him to sign and use that to get some OEM support
