What have you guys done to earn six figures for the last 7-10 years? Lay off the guy
Would you be happy being at your "entry-level" position and salary for 11 years in your career? The dude cant even sign his own gear deal. He makes more money than me for sure. But when there's another step in your career that everyone eventually takes, 11 years is plenty time to prepare.
Is this the year Davalos finally points out after 11 seasons in the 250 class?
Who gives a shit? I believe that the 250 class should be on equal footing with the 450 class, and that any rider should be able to choose either class. There were quite a few articles about this earlier in the Fall. It's time that we changed the hierarchy of what people believe defines a "top rider". There are MANY riders that prefer riding the tiddlers to the bigger displacement bikes. It's always been like that. How many top level riders used to like riding the 500's back in the day? NOT MANY, I can damn guarantee you that.
Has it seriously been 11 years? Why is it that time Flys as you get older, and it was molasses when I was ten??? I remember his early days, it didn't seem THAT long ago....

You're totally right about the equal footing of the classes. Back in the 80's / 90's people didn't care at all in which class somebody rode. Today i was watching the Namur GP of '88 with a buddy, and i forgot who the rider was, but they talked about a rider who rode the 500cc class in '87 and the 125cc class the next year.
