What the frick does a number have to do with anything? Laughing

I remember a dude running number 4 who had a pretty bad ass career. In China for instance number four is the equivalent to the western unlucky number 13. Wink

Its terribly unlucky but only on Fridays .... Think some people in Italy actually think it to be a lucky number.

Think Jessy Nelson may also have proved it to be lucky, not that crashing like that was really lucky but surviving a hit like that may have been. Hope he heals up good.

Just thinking of the Brian Swink days. I remember hearing about how nobody wanted to run it. Who ran it last?

Not sure in MX who has ran it but Italian road racer Loris Reggiani ran it throughout his career I think, think he won quite a few GP's with it also!

It is just a number no different than 1 or 69 or my former national number of 666.

Some people get butt hurt over anything.

No. Thinking some numbers are lucky while others are unlucky is ridiculous.

Numbers, the orderly language of the cosmos...yeah there's nothing special there, just random coincidences...right...I see #13 show up in plenty of bummed seasons and career enders over the years. Everyone has their "number" and those who look for it see it all the time in amazing situations, for a reminder to them that there's a deeper Power working behind the scenes. No evidence will ever be enough for the unbeliever.
World leaders and CEO's, and powerful people throughout history know also as they design them into their logos and architecture to gain the desired advantage available, evil or good.

I heard there is a rule being considered for mandatory upper body protection if you race with 13.

Or was it that you had to lift bro.......hmmm.

Not sure but it's one of the two probably.

Not a superstitious person myself, but the fact that most buildings with more than 13 floors, skip the 13th floor all together has got to have meant something to someone at some point. Just sayin.....

Jessy was asked in an interview why he chose to run the #13 and he just laughed and said he didn't believe in all that stuff. I'd be willing to bet he'd run it again, the #13 s just another #.

Brian Swink, Rick Johnson and Blake Wharton all ran it, but many have declined.

But the #666 ? I don't really care for it, but the VIN # on my Harley Davidson streetglide ends in 666, which I didn't realize until I signed all the paperwork. Had I seen it before I had signed, I would've picked a different bike. But that's just me, it's really just another # too, although most Christians would disagree....... Evil

Only if you think it is, otherwise it's just another number. I'd run it. I think anything you believe to be lucky or unlucky is just that. Doesn't matter what other people think
Didn't Heath Voss run 13? Or was it 15?

Let me correct that slightly for you Wink

...most buildings at least in the USA with more than 13 floors, skip the 13th floor...

Now, I haven't been to all buildings in Europe with more than 13 floors, but NONE of the buildings I've been to with more than 13 floors have had it skipped. That got to have meaning to someone? Just saying... Wink

Elevatoes skipping the 13th floor means to me I hope the people living on the 13th floor don't mind taking the stairs Silly
