Yellow plastic, gold rims, vented front plate. Those bikes were so moto back in the day. I rode the small bikes then but those YZs looked so cool to me. I know it got bad reviews but it looked cool to me.

My 1st full sized bike after moving up from a YZ80. I personally loved mine. Other than regular maintenance it was very reliable. My dad was very meticulous about air filter cleaning, regular piston & ring changes, oil changes, etc. We never even had a problem with the wheels. We raced my 1984 YZ125 for two full seasons with nothing more than regular spoke tightening. Sad though he was so into it I never got to touch it maintenance wise.
