1999 CR 250RX 2ND OWNER CRAZY FAST - $2400 (MERIDEN, CT 06450)


You are looking at the fastest and best built Honda CR 250RX on the market. I am the second owner of this beast and I knew the previous owner very well and also knew how meticulous he was about keeping his stuff clean and up to date since he bought this bike new.

Last season I had the entire engine rebuilt from top to bottom. The bike has new Pro-Taper fat bars, New Weisco Piston and High ccompression rings. New Crank bearings and seals, all new gaskets, Pro-Curcuit full pipe to 909 silencer, carbon fiber v-force reeds, steeel clutch plates and HD springs. Ported and polished cylinder. I have a new set of Perelli Tires to go with it.

The bike is in excellent condition and will definately take out almost any bike out there no problem!! This bike is not for beginners and will not be test rode unless you have cash in hand and sign a crash agreement!!

The bike is currently registed in Connecticut as all-terrain and easy transferrable to the netra riders and guys that like to go to the dam and ride. PLEASE NO LOW BALLERS OR SCAMMERS!!!! I've been doing mechanical stuff for about 30 years. I've never heard of "high compression rings" before. Guess I need to go back to school and learn the new stuff out there. If that bike can "take out" anyone out there, is it the bike or the rider out of control ON the bike? I'm thinking the latter, but again...back to school I go. The crash agreement? I'm thinking you guarantee to wad the thing up for the guy? Boy. I got some serious classes to take this semester. Wish me luck. Oh, BTW...what dam and where is it? THAT should be the place to go!

I believe he would be referring to Thomaston Dam, that place rocked.

I should call this guy. I live about 1/4 mile from meriden. Maybe if I get some time tuesday I'll go check out the worlds stiffest ( I mean fastest) bike. I want to know about these steeel clutch plates, they sound interesting. I wonder how happy PC and FMF will be to find out they have a joint effort in the exhaust on the fastest cr250rx.

I just called about the bike. He asked which bike, and i told him the '99 cr250rx. I guess he's got the only one Honda ever made. He claims it was traded last week for a newer raptor. He does however have another gem in his garage. A '87 cr125. I asked how much and he said no idea. Claims he just put on a new cylinder and hasn't run it. He said when he see's how fast it is he can figure out a price. He did say around $800, which after he realizes the new cylinder boosted the power way up, it will be $1500.

LMAO! You did, I get really annoyed talking to people like this, I would not be able to hold back...

I found a new cylinder to that bike? Impressive! Smile I doubt he even knows from what decade that other bike is from...

Yeah but if the other bike is gone, this one surely can't also be the bestest and fastest can it?

As far as I am aware the "Crash agreement" consists of signing a document that states that you are about to ride the crazy fastest 250x ever built and by doing so you ARE going to crash.

By signing the said agreement you waive all rights to sue him for personal injury claims.
