Saw him at Washougal last year and even though it's kind of a sideshow you honestly couldn't help but cheer for him I'm no pro 2st supporter like most on here but fuck it was good to see and here and am glad he's back for 12 rounds of eating roost

It would be cool to see someone sponsor a 125 title , you would still have to race and qualify against the 250s which would give the title some real credibility.

Like I said in the other thread, is the Husky even homologated for pro racing? If not then he made a big mistake buying those bikes.

I see it is NOT approved for 2016 Supercross: http://www.amasupercross.com/rules/pdf/2016/Bulletins/AMA_Bulletin_SX_2016_03SX_Approved_Motorcycles.pdf

The 2016 approved machine list is not posted, but I see for 2015 Outdoor Motocross it was NOT approved: http://amaproracing.cdn.racersites.com/assets/UpdatedPDF-AMAP-Approved-MX-Motorcycles-2015.pdf

Next question would be, did Husky even bring in enough 125's to meet the homo requirement? If so, would they even file the paperwork and pay the $3000-$5000(?) fee to get the bike homologated just so they could have one riding around in the mid 20's to 30's each moto?

Don't get me wrong, I'll raise my beer and swing my shirt at him every lap he comes by, just hope it's not a mistake getting the Husky's.

That's great news he is back. Should be interesting to see him do all 12 rounds. On another note, I can't believe the Yz125 isn't eligible for supercross?? What sense does that make, and why is the Husky not approved either?

What's your CI formula you always post?

These new 125s are supposedly pretty good.

3 hp per CI is real good on 4 str. A 125 is 7.5 CI ,but being 2 str 4 hp per CI may be possible. Never seen one on a dyno by itself.

I've used the dyno that the bike goes on with a flatrack tire but just used the baseline we got first then built more, didn't really care or believe the corrected HP numbers.

4 hp per CI on 2 str would have to be the outer limit. If you could run highly oxidized fuel then thatd be different.

The 2016 approved list (for motocross) is avail, and the TC125 is not on it.

Last year the yz125 wasn't on the approved list either. I think it was Davey who came on here and explained that they allowed him to race it because previous models were on the list and since the bike had not been changed they would allow it.

I know that doesn't directly relate to this situation since the 2016 Husky is a new design, but they might allow a loophole since it is basically the exact same as the ktm. Who knows though.

Because Yamaha didnt get it on the list.

The manufacture has to do that.

Yamaha knows better.

Even so, some how, some way, MX Sports will let the Dude race it... I have no facts to back it up...

It wouldn't be the first time a rider announced he was riding a two stroke only to find the intended bike wasn't on the list

The same guy from Husky who handles Davalos' paperwork is working on it. No need to worry.
