The List: Homers (Racer X)

http://racerxonline.com/2016/11/17/the-list-homers

What other notable SX wins by hometown riders do you think deserve to be on this list?

Millsaps getting his first SX win at Atlanta in 2008 sticks out for me, probably because I was there (holy crap, that was almost 10yrs ago?!?)

I know this list is supposed to be SX only..... but Cooper Webb chasing down Herlings for the win @ Charlotte MXGP this year was too much fun to not mention. Plus, it was still a man made track, so I think we can count it Smile Anyone who was there can attest to how amped the crowd was for their local boy

Im going to throw in Teddy Parks, qualifying for his first main event in Dallas a few years ago. That was pretty special to see and experience. He wasn't the fastest kid on the track growing up, but he would SHRED pitbikes, that's how I knew he'd be successful.

It's not a win, but it is.

Qualifying for the main event (hell, even the night show period) pretty much makes you a certified bad ass in my book.

Cant remember for sure about Guy Cooper winning in OKC. I know he was leading but not sure about his finishing place.

Cooper and Eli winning the GPs was big this year, especially with the hype the GP talent gets now days

Dunge in 2013 was my favourite tho, whole arena behind him! I still watch it time to time on YouTube

Ok. I was leaning that way. Too lazy to look it up. Thanks.

not SX but Jason McCormick's win at Washougal in 99 was pretty amazing.
