That has to be the ugliest clothing anybody ever wore outside the circus ring.

I actually didn't crash. I was ridin with Kenny Bartram on his moto track and there was a jump nobody had done yet so I went at it. The landing was just not made to be a landing and it was super steep. I overjumped it just a little bit and stuck in the clay. The frame made a huge hole in the ground when I came down. I hit so hard! My hands blew off the bars and knees buckled so my butt hit the seat so hard that it broke my pelvis and my t-11 in my back. I rode out of it somehow and kinda rolled up a hill and fell over. I had surgery a couple days later and my first ever real stay in the hospital for a week. That was a month ago yesterday but I'm gettin around good! I've been trying to keep walking to a minimum but when I do walk, it's normal looking at least. haha! I'll be on the bike again in about 5 more months!

These are my X-Rays before surgery.... That bottom part is supposed to be together.

This is afterwards.. They put it back together kinda sideways... Now when I sit down my tailbone feels off to one side. haha

Holy crap. That is sorta more bizarre than I had even heard.

You are going to have to get a special offset seat made! Get well and try not to go stir-crazy from being off a bike for five months.

I think I saw filmage of you testing the new YZ450 at Budds...looking good as usual. If you get a minute can you tell us how that new scoot was to ride?

Yep, that was me. I also got to ride for one of the Euro test guys after the two days I got on the bike. I had to wear all his gear that was way too small. 4 sizes too small in the pants, 3 sizes in the boots, 2 sizes in the helmet, 2 on the gloves, no knee brace sleeves, short socks and a jersey that looked more like a belly shirt. lol.. The video makes it look okay though.

The bike is actually really really good. You can read the full test I wrote up in the digital Amateur MX right here. And the article I wrote is complete truth. The bike is good.

And here is the link to the video on Euro day....

Nice! How did you like Budds? Wish I had known about the test days. I would have rented it right after for the nice/prepped conditions Smile

Budds Creek is so sick! Aside from all the rocks, it's probably my favorite track I've ever ridden. Washougal was an awesome one too and I can't forget a good prepped Cooperland. But Budds Creek is awesome!
