The Best 450?

What is your favorite 450 machine and why? Bikes can be from 2015 or earlier, and are limited to the brands in the shootouts.

Rode the new Yamaha a few weekends ago. Gotta say I was impressed. The thing is super fast and has a nice layout for a tall guy like me. I might have to get one. My last 450 was a Kawi which I loved, but this thing was faster. It did have a couple of handling quirks but nothing that can't be fixed.

Well I ride a Honda 2015 450....so that was my pick, I rode them all except the Husky before choosing the Honda, is it down on power compared to the others well yes of course (although it responds VERY well to mods), but its flickability, lightness in the air, handling, suspension, layout, map switch on handlebars, etc won me over. I did also like the Suzuki overall and the Yamahas suspension.

im a ktm guy and perhaps the most impressive 450 I ever road was the 15 rmz450 with pr2 suspension and a yosh pipe the bike w3as amazing! better than my FE I had and it had full ohlins

09 Kx450. Bike would rip arms off with nothing but a pipe on her. Pulled harder then any other bike I have had and with gold valves it was very easy bike to ride. Kept it turned down!

Had 05 Honda 06 Yamaha 07 Honda and 09 zook. Like them all for different reasons. Guess if I HAD to pick a favorite it would be the 07 Honda. That was a good reliable bike.

I have a 2013 RMZ 450 with a Yosh, and a little bit of suspension work. I love it, best 450 I have owned. There are some quirky things I've noticed with the suspension, though, so I just sent it out to Shane Durham at Pr2 to get the hookup. From what I hear, the guys at PR2 have the special setup to make the RMZ's amazing. We'll see in a couple weeks...
