Anybody can say it's illegal to start a union but would the position the AMA has taken hold up in a court of law "IF" all the riders stick together and challenge it?

FTE, what's your take?

AMA doesn't say it's illegal
The rulebook does state (paraphrasing) that any rider willfully stopping or impeding an event from taking place can be disqualified or suspended.

That could apply to a boycott/strike or a rider lying in the track refusing to get up just to get attention and be a moron

The riders already belong to a Union, I just can't understand how they can waste millions in Washington on stupid helmet laws
and ignore Their own Professional Racers who have $600 AMA license's

Talk about Taxation without representation.

About the AMA

From the street to the track to the trail, millions of Americans enjoy motorcycling. Some ride to work every day. Others ride for pleasure on weekends. Many ride off-road, or journey to places near and far. Still more seek the thrill of competition.

Since 1924, the AMA has protected the future of motorcycling and promoted the motorcycle lifestyle. AMA members come from all walks of life, and they navigate many different routes on their journey to the same destination: freedom on two wheels. As the world's largest motorcycling organization, the AMA advocates for motorcyclists' interests in the halls of local, state and federal government, the committees of international governing organizations, and the court of public opinion."

Through member clubs, promoters and partners, the AMA sanctions more motorsports competition and motorcycle recreational events than any other organization in the world. Through its Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, the AMA preserves the heritage of motorcycling for future generations. AMA members receive money saving discounts from more dozens of well-known suppliers of motorcycle services, gear and apparel, bike rental, transport, hotel stays and more. The AMA is everything motorcycle.

It isn't the AMA they have to worry about... If you listen to the penalties and the riders talkin about them the last few years, it is Feld that calls the shots... Not the AMA...

Just like the AMA needs Feld more than the other way around, Feld needs the riders more than the riders need Feld...

If they stand together, and walk, just one time... They'll get what they need...

If they don't take what Feld gives them then Feld has no show.

I've said it over and over the riders hold the power. No riders, no show.

If they walk the rest will be easy. Fans will support the rider's cause most of the fans are rider's and understand why they want changes.
