Yep great race. I know it will never happen but all SX races need to be on 250s. Racing is much better when the riders can use all the HP that the bike makes and it allows passing that throws the other person off so they can't do obstacles. The 450s you get blocked and you still jump everything.

My heart was pounding during that 250 race. I have preferred the 250 class in both SX and MX these last few years over the 450 class. If you are old enough to remember back in the open 2 stoke pro nationals, it was about the same as the 450's today. Not a lot of battling, lots of follow the leader, and predictable finishing positions. Makes you wonder if it has a bit more to do with excessive HP. I've always found that racing was better when there was a lack of HP and riders has to have better technique and skill to make the bike go faster.

How many HP does a factory prepared 250F make now days vs factory 2 strokes of the early 2000's. not making this into a 2 vs 4 stroke debate, but a HP debate. I know there is no way they'll lower the displacement limits on racing, but I think it would make for better racing.

much better racing. blakes charge was solid. cool to see millsaps in the mix. as long as they keep moving the camera when someones leading like tomac. its ok. the 250 race was classic. I say 250 east west and a 250 full series. so basically get rid of 450s,lol.
