Yeah, I was sorta thinking the same thing....
Right from the take off he looked like he was all out of wack...something just didn't look right.
Didn't look like he was wearing a neck brace either.

I've seen him land one to dirt and it looked nothing like that. He was off from the start. Praying for Paris.

They just said he is coherent and moving all extremeties. So he should be just fine.

When it was going live and I knew he wasnt going to make it, I just looked the other way and clenched!

They said he was alert and awake, just 5 minutes ago, so that's great news!

I walked in with a plate full of food, and damn near dropped it witnessing the end of that crash. Those guys have the most insane mentality of any athlete. I'd say they are just as good at mentally suppressing worst case scenarios, and blocking out fear, as they are at landing their stunts.

I agree. I told my son that it wasn't gonna be good before he took off. I pray he is ok.

How much pressure are these guys under to do their trick? I'm assuming if he backs out, he will never get invited back.

I hope he's ok.

You know it's going to be bad when the guy Twitters before his run for everybody to pray for him because his bike is a POS. He had to know it was going to end bad. I just don't think he wanted to catch the heat that Willy Watts caught.

I haven't seen it,.. FMX best trick always scares the living shit out of me. Was it Paris Rosen? I seen a you tube clip of him landing a 80ft front flip to dirt and was hoping he's stomp it at X.

One things that i'm sure of is that ESPN will replay whoever wrecked 200 X's in the next 72 hrs.. That is their bread and butter.

Yep, it was Paris Rosen. My son said there's already a YouTube vid of it.

That was about as bad as it gets. Pretty much took the wind out of the place as everyone held their breath.

I think they kept him there a bit before transporting him. The ambulance was rolling out as we left Staples Center after the competition was over.

that was some determination....he really wanted to defy all possibilities...no way to bring that one around...he even had a chance to do a whip and land.

with that said, i'm glad to hear he is moving all limbs.

I was at the X games that carey hart tried the back flip in best trick. That crash and stadium reaction reminded me a lot of this. Scary stuff, hope he is ok.

That was the first time he hit the ramp?? He shouldve taken a trial run at the jump for his first run and gone for the flip the second jump. Seems like he was thinking more about the jump distance first and then thought about the flip.

Just plain dumb.

Why would ESPN even let him try something like that without any practice? Imagine if a rider missed all of practice at a supercross and tried to go out and race, I'm not sure they would let him and those are tracks with cookie cutter jumps that the riders can do on the first lap of practice. I'm sure he could've worked out something to take a few hits during commercial breaks or something.

Dumb dumb dumb dumb. Kids, learn from this. ALWAYS put your future and safety first before making some fat cat exec happy.
