I have to say I was excited watching Eli in that third moto, knowing that Team USA was pretty much out of it but he was giving me something to cheer for.

Did you see how hard Eli was hitting those corners? 110% effort.

Amazing ride through the pack considering the track looked very hard to pass with only two lines in the 180 bowl turns. Didn't work so good once he got to the front pack in Moto 2, but he was absolutely hauling ass that last moto. Amazing speed. Can't wait for next year outdoors.

Hell of a ride! Pity he stalled it otherwise I think he might have got second.

Tonus, who Tomac crashed with at the start, finished 8th which was also pretty decent!

What might have been if not for some bad starts by all USA riders. Dungey was the only one to get one good start out of 6.

Can't wait to check him out in about three hours here in the States.

Where is it running at next year?

Those corners didn't leave anything for anybody on the outside. The inside was clearly faster all the time and to pass on the outside one had to be a lot faster. That said Great ride Eli.

Eli, you're a bad dude on a dirt bike.

Sincerely,

Everyone who watched that race.

Down in the first turn to 3rd, and that was with another big mistake too. Wish they had of shown him for longer, looked crazy fast!

Reminds me of a local sand track here in WI. Fun to ride, but sucks to race if you get bad starts like me and Eli today.

Tomac last ride has been outstanding.
But only one rider is never enuogh @ the nations..
Think about last two de nations where TC222 won last 4 races and Italy never got the trophy....

Tomac and Martin showed so much heart out there today. I'm definitely proud how hard they both fought.

Eli's ride in the second moto reminded me of Herlings in 2011...

Just over one second, over Nagl! Wink

Cracking ride though, just got back to the house after watching it!

Even on TV it looked impossibly fast. Have to hand it to him, stunning performance!

Bullshit. Except for moto3, Team USA had great starts.

Dungey deserves respect too. 2nd and a hell of a last ride
Exactly....he got a 2nd place. The best finish from the American team. Eli was in beast mode until the stall. After that, nada.

He went 6-3 while getting beat by 5 guys he should of handled easily in his first moto. Nothing to write home about.

You'll have to explain that one, Kongols. I missed the great starts...apparently.
