I wondered that too. Looked good at the X games, not sure what happened after that, I hadn't heard. Did he get hurt again. I can't imagine the team just letting him sit out, especially if he is not on the team next year.

I'm thinking he just shut it down to get completely headed up. I don't remember his results being that great when he came back from injury.

Wasnt ready for outdoors and felt way off the pace to run up front so he bailed. He did ok at X, but SX is a little easier jump back into than Nationals. Plus he already had a bike setup from SX.

I saw him riding at Pala quite a few times in the month of August. He looked fine to me.
