Starts are pretty difficult for those Honda boys to come by. I've been watching Trey's starts particularly because he's consistently buried. In his heat and semi races, he was already a bike length behind a lot of the field within the first 10 yards of the start. His gate timing is on par with everyone else so it's either wheel spin or some other traction issue. He did better in the start to the main (compared to the heat and semi). He stayed within a couple of bike lengths by the end of the start straight but I believe that's when he got into Seely's rear wheel and went down. I can't figure out what's going on with his starts but he hasn't had one decent start that I can remember.
Besides KTM just owning the starts, can anyone else see what is going wrong from a technical aspect? Is it pure horsepower, mapping, suspension related, timing etc? Seems like Seely, Tomac and Canard's starts have been subpar lately. I don't recall them struggling with starts in previous seasons.

It's more rider than anything else.
