Tampere Supercross in Finland

Is there any VitalMX members going to Tampere supercross next weekend? I will be going there myself on Saturday.

There are some US and Canadian riders attending the race:

101 Karl Normand CAN KTM 450 4t
376 David Plourde CAN Honda 250 4t
532 Ricky Renner USA Yamaha 450 4t
813 Aaron Lampi USA Suzuki 450 4t

Kind of disappointing line up, big part of the fastest Finnish riders aren't there and the foreign riders aren't that impressive. I guess Kullas will dominate the races, i'm not sure how good Renner is? I know that he has been pretty fast in the Danish mx championship.

I'll be there Wednesday - Sunday Smile Renner is good, but as he hurt himself at Denmark, he might not be 100%.

It's too bad if Renner is not 100% healthy. I was hoping that he would give Harri Kullas a good challenge. Does anyone know are there any fast guys among those foreign riders besides Renner?

I'ts really shame that many top Finnish riders do not attend to this race. I wonder if it's because they don't want to hurt themselves riding supercross or just because they are already in the off season mode.

This years MX2 Estonian champ Karel Kutsar is also racing. Don't know what he can do in sx and on a 350 tho.

Expect Ricky to be ready for this weekend. The last supercross he raced in Finland he beat Kullas one night.

The Canadian guys are local Quebec arenacross boys.

Normand is a big dude that's not afraid to go all in and bang bar with anybody. He can makes things interesting.

Here are the result from first night of racing in Tampere. Kullas was pretty much unstoppable. I hope Renner will give a good fight against Kullas tonight

I need to get in the loop for the Finnish MX/SX scene because I come to Helsinki a lot. One of you damn Finns better PM me. Smile Only so much time I can spend at Stockmann before I go nuts.

I would much rather find some fellow MXers and trade stories. Any US-made gear you need brought over?

Kullas won both finals with quite big cap and Renner was second. Great racing in second final.

Thanks for sticking a dagger in my back and then turning it! I literally have NOTHING to do in Finland on the weekends...I've been up and down getting coffee from the nescafe already about 20x times hahaha.

I'm sorry for that Smile I think there isn't much going on in finnish motocross scene anymore this year. I live 400km north from Helsinki and I dont visit there very often.
