Looks like there will be a new points leader after tonite. Hayes crashed in qualifying and is not expected to line up.
Sean Cantrell is making his debut at this event. He's one of the crop of fast, young up and comers, but for some reason hasn't attracted the attention that some of his peers have. I think he might surprise some people tonite.

I'm hoping Faith takes over the points lead.

As far as Sean goes, he actually raced last week. I can't remember his AX class results but I believe he won the AX Lites main event.

It is interesting to me that he had the 11th fastest time and won the event. Is this common in arenacross?

Caught Arenacross on tv tonight and never really thought about it in the past, but I wonder how noticeable the spotlight is for the leader on the final lap? I would think that would be a huge distraction.

Faith got the points lead in convincing fashion. 1-1 for the night.

Cantrell finished 3rd in lites, 12-15 in AX class.

Seems like who ever is building austins bike can't keep that thing together. Kid came from last to 7th first main then bike breaks on the line for second main.
