I have not had a new bike since 2005 and have not been on a big bike in a few years after an injury and just got to busy with life. Now the kids in college and I have more time. The timing is great with the weather and a new facility is about to open close by too. I decided to stop in the shop yesterday and when I saw the 2015 crf450r it was mine in minutes. I just got it home. Just going to stare at it for over a week because I have charters most days. Also waiting on new 6d to get here. I have those icy jitters running through my veins. I miss that. I will give a ride report if I remember how to ride.

Wow! Congrats man! I know the feeling all to well about taking time off , and then one day getting to own a new bike again.........just an awesome feeling along with nerves from hell. After you get that first ride in , a lot of that will go away and it's all about having fun again. Stay safe and have fun that new bike!

Not a better feeling in the world than the anticipation of the first ride on a brand new bike, if only that feeling would last forvever...lol

Dude...money well spent. I'd be rich if i had all the money i've spent on bikes the last 33 years, but man nothing could top all the enjoyment it brings. Money well spent...ENJOY every minute of it.

Thanks guys. I probably should have just started a new thread about this. But I feel like a fool for letting this happen. I have an idea who did it and I'll hopefully get my shit back. If the kids want to delete these few posts I'll start a new thread with a description and vin numbers.

You're going to have a blast brother....trust me! all it takes is that first ride , and you'll realize how much you missed it. Sometimes what we need is a break....weather it be a couple months or a couple years.....most of us get back into it because we love the sport. And a break is something that helps us get that fire back in our belly to do it again. That new bike of yours is going to be incredible!

Start a new thread Cyg and post some pics of it and the vin numbers. Always helps having a bunch of eyes out there looking for it.

I talked to my wallet today too about buying a used yz250. It called me some names, and told me to go do stuff I would rather not repeat.

I'm in the same boat except "My wallet" is my Wife and she says finish the Gazebo first!..I don't think I will ever get that thing done.

Very Nice FLmxer! That bike looks sweet just sitting there. Staring at it is like foreplay before the Orgasm I mean the Ride...

Congrats man! I know how awesome the feeling is of getting a "new to you" used bike and first taking to for a quick rip, but I cant even begin to imagine what itd be like on a freshy. I try to talk to my wallet every Thursday, but it keeps saying no. Apparently an Xbox One sound betetr than saving for a 2nd bike. Congrats man, burn the freakin dirt up!

Thanks. I will probably go to Lcross first and then Thundercross to start. I hope that new place opens up soon.

Congrats on the new bike! Weather here in NWF was great today. Left my bike at home and just took my son to ride today. His first time back on a bike in 9 weeks after a broken bone in his elbow.

It really is slender and the rear fender is extra long but the front fender is real short and blunt. Even with the dual exhaust it seems like a compact system. A bit different ergonomics compared to the 05 model. Thanks for the comments and anyone who wants to ride it just ask.
