RacerX just posted that Canards in for Washougal this weekend. Pretty excited to have him back. How do you think he'll do?

Washougal hasn't been nice to Trey in the past. Hopefully he can just get through these last rounds clean and safe, and come into 2016 swinging!

Top 5. I don't see him breaking up the Dungey/Barcia/Roczen train. Will be good to see him back, though. This track has been really awesome (2010) to Trey, as well as really cruel. Hopefully it's the former this weekend.

HECK YEA!!!!!

TORRANCE, Calif. (July 21, 2015) – The stage is set for the highly anticipated return of Team Honda HRC’s Trey Canard for round nine of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in Washougal, Washington. Canard has been sidelined since April, rehabbing an arm injury that was sustained at the Detroit Supercross, but he has been officially released by his doctor and is scheduled to campaign the remainder of the series aboard his factory Honda CRF450R.

Now fully recovered, the Oklahoma native is eager to get back to racing. “I’m really excited to be returning to the starting gate and racing with all these guys each weekend,” Canard said. “I don’t have any set expectations for my return except to do my best, give 100% effort, ride within my limits and enjoy doing what I love. Things have gone smoothly since I started riding again. The Honda team was out at my house testing a few weeks ago, and I feel like they really did their homework while I was out. They’ve brought an amazing bike together, and I can’t wait to race it!”

“We’re looking forward to seeing what Trey can do at the remaining four rounds of the series,” said Team Honda HRC Manager Dan Betley. “Trey has made a great deal of progress in a short period of time since getting back on his bike, and he showed a lot of speed while we were out at his house testing. He’s an incredibly focused and determined racer, and I don’t think it’ll be long before he’s mixing it up with the frontrunners.”

That train may have an empty seat, Baggett grabbed it last moto, and I think Trey is capable of boarding at the next stop. Glad to see him back.

This is awesome. The 450 class needs a little excitement and Trey offers just that. Seems like whenever he comes back from injury he doesn't take long to catch up to everyone else so I expect a top 5 from Trey.

Trey is one of my favorite riders. Not many guys actually respond to getting passed anymore like Trey does. Most just roll over and let the other guy go about his business. Trey will run it in on them in the next corner to get that spot back!

Glad to have him back!

Where do we place him? 4th behind Dunge Barcia and Roczen?

Does he beat the fading Roczen?

This is great. I'm going to go out on a limb and say trey grabs 3rd overall. But top 5 is definitely realistic.

Agreed. We all know something is going on with Roczen. Little my little Baggett is gaining speed. Hence why he was running his fastest laps of the moto at the end of the day at Millville. I think Canard will be somewhere between 3rd and 5th. With a good possibility of beating Roczen and maybe even Baggett. If Baggett could figure out starts and be up front with Barcia and Dungey he'd have a chance to learn they're speed.

I'm gonna bet he has a good chance of beating Roczen this weekend. Somewhere you have to throw BB4 in though. He's consistently running quicker each week. With the exception of Red Budd he's been a steady 4th the last handfull of rounds.

Nope, because now Cole is back on the injured list.

The not injured list is shorter than the injured list, I swear. (not actually)
