Next thing we hear is that they stop supporting RC and Pastrana, that's when we know they are really broke.............

What does Suzuki actually sell? I can't see bike sales being very good and many banks won't let you take a loan out for their cars... Could see them "merging" with Kawasaki again.

Dont think so, my sons been with them for 4 years, we've got bikes late before but never had them pull the plug altogether.

You know it's bad when arguably one of the fastest amateurs in the country is looking for a ride this late. Someone will pick him up! Good luck guys!

Thanks, he's in Australia right now racing SuperX, maybe something will come up over there, if not its another year on a shoestring.

Blame General Motors. When they filed bankruptcy, it cost Suzuki several billion dollars.

Let me just say that Suzuki may not be the biggest motorcycle manufacturer but they are a bigger company globally than most may realise...I think they can pull it together sooner or later..

Suzuki Europe had also Herlings and Roczen, they were both supported.
But Herlings his "contract" ended when his 85cc career ended and Suzuki let him go and KTM picked him up.
Suzuki went on with Roczen but the same shit happened with him they lost him to KTM too, only a little later.

Suzuki is not the smartest brand out there that is for sure!

um...they're not dumb, they can't afford to sponsor these riders and they obviously see it's not making business sense.

Hmm, it's awkward. If Dungey had won a championship this year for them, maybe sales would pick up cs people wouldnt doubt the bike as much. But, when Decoster goes it's bad. When Dungey loses two championships down to silly bike problems, you know it's not the way to go!

As for the amatuer programme. Those guys will get picked up.. I can see JGR losing Webb and Chase cs KTM's boosting their amatuer effort, and it's looking like yellow may be a go go for gibbs. So an easy switch?

Suzki doesnt really concern me too much any how. Kawi or Ktm are the brands to be on really. Kawi just need to bring out an updated two stroke and KTM need to go back to factory-o'-rising (new word!!) stuff.. Paint the frames orange like the factory team and black excels again. Or at least offer it as an upgrade like the Musquin rep and Cairoli rep.

So people really are that silly to look at a race result to buy a bike for them to "play on" . To me a good dealer means more than anything besides racing the top professional(amateur) level. I am glad people really think like that, because that rationalizes the manufactures spending millions to go racing.

It may sound crazy; but, I buy bikes for riders based on the available and "possible" support from the OEM.

So, that means NO MORE Suzukis.

Sad.

That would be sick. I know they tried before and it was a disaster. Imagine if you had the Kawi motor with the Zook chassis? That would be the best "Stock" bike.

VW owns about 20% of Suzuki. Someone in the auto industry said VW was interested in Suzuki's dealership networks in certain countries. Central and South America especially.
